George Clooney’s pet potbelly pig, named Max has died at the age of 19 on Dec. 1, 2006.  Max, who lived at Clooney’s Hollywood Hills home, died “peacefully” of natural causes on Friday, Clooney’s publicist, Stan Rosenfield, said by phone Monday.  Max weighed around 300 pounds and had some health problems - was partially blind and had arthritis.

Remember that hot car called KITT from Knight Rider, that show starring David Hasselhoff from the 80’s? Here’s a funny little clip from that show where KITT helps provide refuge for a scruffy little dog. Part two of can be seen here.

Paris Hilton is spotted in a pet store buying a new Chihuahua.  She didn’t have a name for her new dog, but it is a girl.

President Bush’s dogs go for a walk on the front lawn of the White House.  The dog assistant has trouble with one of the dogs and looks like she could use a helping hand!  The President’s dogs are both Scottish Terriers.  One is named Barney and the other is Miss. Beazley.
